Storyboard
We produced a Storyboard when planning our Trailer so that we would have a clear idea of what to film and when. Each scene is outlined and includes what is to be filmed in each shot, the camera angle and any info on lighting if required.
This is the main story board that we are focusing on while we are filming our trailer. Our killer is drawing what he wants to happen to his victims later on the trailer, it then moves on to jar full of water where there is blooding dripping into it. The third shot is where it shows traffic within the country side, someone then runs out into the on going traffic and gets himself hit by one of the cars.
With this story board, it is showing the process from scene 1 to scene 10. The first two scenes are showing that everything looks normal, then the mad doctor comes out of no where and kidnaps the meant to be 'dead' victim. The doctor then takes the victim to his secret room where he will experiment with the body and create a new piece of art. After he has made his 'masterpiece' he then gets rid of the body and starts to make more designs that he will experiment on new people. Before we decided to film this we originally came up with the victim escaping and aiming to kill the doctor.
Storyboard Example - Saw III
When creating our storyboard we used the Saw III storyboard as an example to base ours off of. There is clear evidence of content which a storyboard should have including camera shots, camera angles, scene-content and sounds. In order to make our storyboard good we will have to replicate the content as our own.
