What is Credit Shots?
Credit Shots are the shots with text only which either says the title of the film or a name of the director or and actor
IT
The author of the first book 'IT' was published by a man called Stephen King in 1986 on the 15th of September. In the trailer there is around 9 credit shots, this will help us when it comes to filming our trailer because we will now know how many credit shots we should include throughout it.
Split
The original Director of the film 'Split' is a man called M. Night Shyamalan. This film was released on the 20th of January 2017. In this trailer there is around 6 credit shots, there isn't as many as the first trailer but that is because there is a lot more shots per second.
Get Out
The writer and director of the film 'Get Out' is a man called Jordan Peele. The film was released on the 17th of March in 2017. In this trailer there is 6 credit shots this is helpful to our group when it comes to making our own trailer because then we are able to know how many credit shots we should include into our trailer.
The Hatred
The director and writer of the film 'The Hatred' is by a man called Michael G. Kehoe. The film was released in October 2017. This trailer has at least 3 credit shots which isn't a lot at all compared to the other trailers above.
Don't Knock Twice
The director of the film 'Don't Knock Twice' is by a man called Caradog W. James. The release date of this film is on the 29th of September 2016. This trailer has around 6 credit shots this is a good amount to use in a trailer.
The Conjuring 2
The director of the film 'The Conjuring 2' is by a man called James Wan. The release date of the film was on the 13th of june 2016. This trailer has 9 credit shots which is by far the best out of all of them .
Final thoughts
After conducting a content analysis of each trailer, we have decided to include roughly 6-7 credit shots within our 90 second trailer.
