The sight of the Universal intro is something which many recognise today. Mainly due to its dominance in the film industry, the sight of the iconic 'Universal' text being revealed over the Earth has been used in many films today. This intro represents several different elements for Universal.
The font chosen is heavy and bold which represents the strength of Universal's brand. The text moves over the Earth in order to represent the diversity of the films which Universal distributes. The overall sight of the clip shows the whole universal logo wrap around half of the planet, this could suggest that this company handles most of the entertainment within the planet.

The use of this scene represents the vast amount of films which they distribute. As Everest is tall, it suggests that Paramount has a large global reach and so is able to distribute easily worldwide.

We chose to use the Lionsgate intro in our trailer due to its strong brand identity and global reach. Using it made our trailer feel more professional and also signified trust as a distribution company such as themselves were responsible for distributing our film.
