- Throughout our trailer we made our casting choices we thought were relevant to it. We took into account the stereotypical types of male and female. We made our casting choices as stated below as we believed this will keep the audience engaged as we haven't gone for the typical stereotypical characters/personalities.
- The majority of our cast are teenagers, as in horror characters tend to be young and naive. This also ties into our plot and the fact that our killer seems a lot older than he is and could gain their trust in some way by 'fitting in with the crowd'.
Kyle Ellison Dos Anjos
We believed that Kyle (the main antagonist of the trailer) suited the role as he could make himself look the oldest in comparison to the rest of our group. This was seen in the fact he could grow his facial hair out slightly, to give a more rugged look and also owned a sweater to complete the look.
Another reason we thought Kyle was appropriate for this role was his uncanny similarity to the American Horror Story actor 'Zachary Quinto'. In the first season of the show he played a character who seemed well dressed and professional on the outside, but unbeknown to the rest of the cast had his own sinister motives. We as a group felt like Kyle would be able to portray the same sort of role in our trailer.

Wiktoria Solecka
We believed that Wiktoria was perfect for the female role in our trailer. In horror movies there has always been the classic horror trope that there is always a typical blonde woman who dies early in western films of this genre. However, even though Wik bears a striking resemblance to the american actress Zosia Mamet (right), we decided to cast her in order to contradict this trope and instead opted for both a male and female character to both die and even things out.
Barbara Creed's work focuses on the horror genre and the impact of patriarchal ideologies upon it and an example of how were are matching this would be Kyle's character being in the powerful position, although we go against it with Wik's character.

Rowan Blackford
We cast Rowan in order to even out the number of each gender that die in our trailer. He helps to contradict the horror film trope of the 'dumb blonde' dying by being a blonde male character instead. This makes our trailer be a lot more up to date with the times and not face any controversy when it comes to facing audience opinions.
