Before creating our trailer, we produced a risk assessment to ensure that filming was safe and as risk-free as possible. By outlining each risk which was posed to our crew, actors and the public, we were less likely to run into any unexpected trouble while filming. In it, we analysed the hazard, risk posed to individuals, persons who may be harmed if the risk was to become a reality, property which may be damaged, the risk controls which we put in place to minimise the risk and the overall severity of the risk.
We noted down all risks which ranged from props to locations and members of the public to clothing. Additionally, we also took into account how each hazard may affect residents, their property or the general environment. Throughout this risk assessment we thought carefully about everyone around us but we made sure we could still make a horror with a few precautions.
